Woe is me. I've been de-trucked.
This thread is pretty ignorant. How I love brand specific forums...
Rojhan sorry to see your truck go but what you did makes sense. There is no point in paying for something that you do not use so by paying for something that you use to do the same job that is more efficient he can divert his money else where. And to all those who are but hurt about him driving a Jap car who cares. What does Dodge/Chrysler have to bring to the table that even remotely competes with european, import or even other domestics.

good for him. I'm all too certain that there are many people out there questioning why we buy these tank *** trucks. He founds something that works for him and to tell you the truth I'm happy that he bought a hybrid mostly because he is not braggin about the Prius being the end all car that everyone should drive. Whatever I'm over it.
when it all comes down to it, its just a damn vehicle, he did wat needed to be done, and i think we all should respect that... just my .02, and where are the pics bro!!!! haha i still have no idea how to do that "this thread is worthless without pics" lol
Sorry for your loss. I've owned my truck 3 years and have put on 38,000 Km so thats about 600 miles a month avg. lately I do about 3 trips to work a week (only work 4) so thats 30 miles and add maybe one trip to town every 2 weeks 60 miles. Anyhow I am cheap and use the PT as the grocery getter, and haul back 30 bucks in High test fuel using jerry cans for the Ram. Would I get rid of the truck, hell no. I have over $30 K into it, still owe 8K and its probably only worth 10K. Besides if the new owner told the truth would never be able to insure it because it has MODS (especially east of Kenora). So why do I own a Truck, cause I live in Alberta (Truck Country) and always wanted a Truck cause I am originally from the Deep Woods. I am a "Caraholic" and with my Ram can control my illness and keep my mariage together, the days of Classic Minis, Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Caprices, Satellites, Darts and Newports are behind me, I made a promise to myself that this one I will keep.
Thanks, Day Off, Raining Out, Bored.
P.S. Never seen a Prius, show us!

What? Why pics? I'm a traitor, emasculated, etc, etc..
Quick-n-dirty from phonecam:

Soapbox, venting mode on...
- My truck. My choice. (even if it's not one I *wanted* to make)
- Good luck finding any vehicle (or any other product) truly "Made in America".
- I don't use my vehicle as a yardstick to measure my ***** (I measure it with a yardstick...
)
- Reality and desire don't always agree with each other
- The truck changed from both a want and a need into a really expensive garage ornament
- The Prius is a less expensive and more economical way to get around
- Other choices like a Mazda 6 or another BMW wouldn't do anything to reduce expense
- The BMW is still there for fun stuff
- Saving money lets me do nice things like reducing debt or taking a 2-week Alaska vacation....
- The lease is over sooner than the old pay-off and gives more more flexibility later for a sacrifice now
- And, finally... I'm not asking for anybody's *approval*. My original post was simply a comment on how surprisingly painful being de-trucked was. Deal with it.
Soapbox/venting off...
I'll try to get better pics later and will probably do something silly with merging the Prius and the truck into a single sig pic.

I for one actually really like the Prius deep down inside. I dont think i've bashed your decision yet. Thats my story and im stickin to it. Seriously though man its a sharp little car. Way more intelligent than I am thats for sure. Glad to see you went with the 3rd Gen. They look a lot less ghey now on the exterior anyway. Not a fan of the centered gauge cluster at all.
Again, congratulations. Now make it your sig pic
