Has anyone tried or is using the Tornado air system things?? How does it effect power and MPG??

haven't used it but the theory is the same as a helicoil TB spacer, twirling the air and all. Continuing debate on this whole subject, but I think only personal tests will answer the question for ya.

if your engine was carburated or throttle plate injected then it would give you better atomization of the fuel and better power.

the injectors are pointed right at the intake valves and do a good job of atomizing the fuel. you dont need any extra circulation of the air since you install that thing in the intake tube. by the time the air has snaked it's way through the intake manifold you've lost the spin it puts on the air.

save your cash and buy a lottery ticket. you might get something in return there

Waste of money. If you want I'll sell you plans for a hairdrier supercharger system. All electric so its gauranteed to make HP by not making the belt drag of the other more expensive systems. [sm=lame.gif]

I had one in my 02 ram and you can not tell any difference, and I unloaded almost $80 on a piece of tin that could be made from an aluminum can.

You guys are crazy!!!!

I put the Tornado on my Hemi and added a Aeroturbine muffler. When combined with 2 cans of slick 50 and nufinish wax, my Hemi ran a 16.5 in the quarter.

You guys sux for crappin on my mods.[&o]
