HELP with LIFT !
Hold the phone, Adavison. If you're going to put a leveling kit/spacers on the front, then I don't think you want to do the RoughCountry 3" lift kit. You'll be combining slightly longer, much stiffer coils with a coil spacer. I think this combo, if it fits, will result in a very harsh ride, and will put your suspension components at the end of their operating range I'm pretty positive.
If I could do it again, I would add the leveling kit/spacers w/ shocks for three reasons:
1. You will get exactly the lift you want. With the coils you won't know. because there were so many options for coils on the 3rd Gen Ram its impossible for anyone to tell you how much higher over you current height the replacement coils will lift your truck.
2. Since you will keep your factory coils, you will also keep your factory spring rate (=softer ride)
3. Cheaper.
You can order the Rough Country shocks by themselves for $30 a piece I believe.
To get the other 3" I would add a body lift (~$325) if you have the equipment and time to install, or lift spindles and rear blocks (~$375 eBay).
Or Both!
