Hey all I've about to get a new set of tire for my "Brandie" soon. I did notice that the Driverside "Inner" shoulder rib has worn down really badly no belts yet but still bad.

I've gone over by about 4,500 miles past the milage that the tires were warrented for 50,000 so that was no biggy. And she seems to be pulling to the right a bit more. But the roads I travel are windy and all so I just drive it. I haven't done a rotation in about 7,000 + miles either.

But the last set the front driverside also had this same wear pattern. I've had 2 alignments done in the last 3 years. But here we go with just the drivers tire doing this

I know when I get the next set of tires I want them to last as long as these have. Any guess's?? thanks H-

Yeah, I second that you need an alignment

But it's only wearing on the driverside inner part of the tire. Rightside is fine. I'm ending up with a 2nd set of 3 tires that still have a few miles left in them again. But thanks for the input I'll be doing the alignment soon. H-

Thats means the alignment on that side is 'toed" in or out too much and riding more on one part of the tire than the entire tire itself. It doesnt cost anything to have it checkout, only to do the alignment itself. Other than that I would check your wheel hubs and ball joints.

Actually its camber...too much negative.

Assuming nothings bent enough to take it out of range, an alignment will correct it.

Whenever you get tires, you should have an alignment done!
i would aslo have your balljoints checked as well just to be safe.
