I think that the ability to custom tune with SC would be awesome. I don't have any major mods that would require a custom tune (yet), but YES custom tuning would be... in the words of frog..."Bitchen"

Even though you don't have the mods that need the custom tuning yet, wouldn't it be nice to know that when you do get to that point that you would not have to change tuners or buy an additional tuner to run the new mods? Hopefully SC is watching this thread and the ones on the other forums and seeing that there is a demand for the product if they decide to make it.

One question that was brought up on another forum was if they do go this route would it need a whole other tuner in order to support the software? I know there was a fuss with the trans options that you had to buy a new tuner to get the new options, would this be the case this time as well?

That is a good question truckin, I would like to know the same. But even if a new tuner was needed I would still be for custom tuning. From the fact that custom tuning was originally going to be offered when the 3815 was out, I would guess that the 3865 and 3950 would be able to hold what is needed for custom tuning. Maybe one of the guys from SC could confirm if a new tuner would be needed.

Why can we just hook our trucks via USB-OBDII cable to a PC laptop and tune it like the chevy and ford guys do and tune with a program like EFI live. That would be the best. The day someone can do this without screwing with a piggy back lemme know otherwise I'll just be sticking to a stock broomstick cam and no boost.
