Do You Want Custom Tuning From Superchips??
Well Superchips is developing there Racing Division which will give custom tuning finally to SC. We need all the support to push SC to develop them for our Rams!! I would love to have custom tuning from SC because I have been holding off on engine mods since I dont want to lose the trans options. So please post up if you would want custom tuning from Superchips. It would make it the ultimate tuner
Posting this from another forum for some background about this poll. Thanks for posting it Nick!

Greetings to Superchips customers!
It has been a long time since I last posted on the boards, but I monitor them quite often to ensure we’re moving the needle in the right direction regarding delivering superior products and delighting customers. It seems the transmission tuning has been well received despite the fact that it took us much longer than we anticipated. The transmission tuning project was a MASSIVE undertaking! Jeep Flashpaq also took much more energy than we anticipated, but it’s the best Jeep tuner on the market due to those efforts. There will be more innovations to come…
I wanted to take a few moments to comment on the Superchips Racing announcement. This recent announcement specifically targets the performance diesel market. While I can’t comment on future products beyond what’s already in the public domain, I can assure you that our advanced new product development team (NPD) is working on a few stellar projects that will launch in the next 6-18 months. (Superchips’ NPD is our elite cross-functional team developing all-new products requiring new designs, software, tools, etc – anything requiring resources and/or working capital. They are the ones responsible for advanced new products.) I know that’s a long time ahead, but innovation and/or invention take time… We’ll have something all-new at SEMA 2010, spring 2011, and SEMA 2011.
I wish I could share more information, but loose lips sink ships. The last time we ‘teased’ the Dodge crowd we were burned at the stake and I’m not getting in the hot seat again! We don’t want to give the impression something is coming unless it’s really going to launch. Please understand we have a long list of customer feature demands that we’ll be trying to incorporate in our future products. We have to find the right balance between customers wants/needs, cost, volume, investment, production (made in USA), regulations (CARB), and field support. Until we find the right formula for those variables, we’re going to stay quiet.

I would love to see SC go this route with their tuners. It would be pretty sweet to be able to combine trans control and custom tuning into one SC product. And if they need me to beta again I would certainly do it. My cam goes in soon and while I know it will run on the SC can tune, a custom tune would be way better.
I called SC on the telephone in 2005 and inquired about custom tunes before laying out the THEN PRICE of $495 for a 3815 tuner. I knew I would need them as I was in deep discussion with KRC Performance about a custom ground cam that would need it. Was told "no problem, custom tunes are maybe two to three months away", so I bought.
LONG TWO TO THREE MONTHS... LOL!!!
In all fairness though, I understand they went through an ownership change and the new parent company was all about CARB certification. I was even offered a full refund THREE YEARS AFTER PURCHASE when Scott learned of this.
The product was still worth what I paid for it to me, and since family health issues have hit my funds hard, I was/am not in position to install the cam and purchase all the things necessary for it anyway.
But that said, HELL YEAH, I'd love to see SC get into custom tunes!!!

Sils, any chance at all that us 5.9'ers are gonna see any love from this? I want a Superchips even without a custom tune but I would love to be able to really dial everything in especially if I decide to go with a cam or other engine mods in the future.
