Default Removing badging.

I want to remove the RAM 1500, 5.7 HEMI, and 4x4 SLT badging from my truck. I'm sure I can just pull them off with the assistance of a pair of pliers and a razorblade, but is there a better way? What can you guys recommend for removing the adhesive that will almost undoubtedly be left over?

Use dental floss to remove the badging (work it like a saw, back and forth behind the badging), then spray some WD-40 on a soft cloth and rub it over the badging adhesive that will remain on the truck. Let the WD-40 soak in for a few minutes then wipe the area with a clean soft/cotton cloth.
p.s., Could you mail the "Hemi" emblems to me? I have a small project I would like to use them in.

I used a heat gun to warm up the adhesive and could easily peel them off. Then I took some goo gone to clean the excess. The only problem was the dirt shadow that always seemed to show, so I put on a thick coat of wax and buffed it.

Similar to what was said above......(my buddy at work did it this way on my boss's truck) Use a piece of fishing line (50lb) and "saw" them off. Then use the stuff made by the same folks that make PB Blaster. It's called Fabulous Blaster. Great stuff. Removes the adhesive and gunk easily. I'm going to do my own emblems very soon.

Goo-gone and 3M Adhesive Remover work, too.

All the best.

I expect to remove all the badging on my mineral gray regular cab as soon as it comes in. The exception may be to keep the two small "Hemi" badges, at least until I find simpler ones or fab such.

ALL else will go for sure and are promised to a Forum member, if he still wants 'em. I'll post pix if no one else does by then.

There's how it looks with no badging.
