I think he meant that the placement is on a windshield mount right next to the A Pillar.

I see...too bad. It would look really clean with some kind of A-pillar mount deal.

Diablo makes a A pillar cut mount for thier Trinity. Maybe you could get that ($25) and make it work. I have one on mine (Trinity)

I put mine right above the rear view mirror! Its out of the way and looks sharp, just route the power cable in the headliner and down the a-pillar. You'll need a mini usb extension though. Right where the windshield has the black stuf to block the sun above the rear view mirror.

If you mean this...



...I could definitely make this work with a single gauge A-pillar. Great find...thanks! Another mod/project to add to the list, but well worth doing.

Mine is on the dash right next to the gauge in my A pillar. I ran the power wire down behind the dash and spliced into a keyed power source under the dash. So there is no visible wire and the power wire is not taking up one of the aux power outlets.
