So as I said in my other thread, I got my 2007 1500 SLT 4.7 4x4 QC SB.

When looking under the hood I found this...





When I traced it down, I discovered that it comes out of a wiring bundle just inside the drivers side wheel well. Also coming out of this bundle, along with the blue wire is a red wire that runs up to a connection that also connects directly to a terminal on the side of the fuse box.



I know Dodge does all the wiring for compents and options that arent neccesarily installed. Just wondering what this is suppose to be for.
Any ideas?

 

It looks like the blue wire for the added 7 pin tow package wiring. The blue wire is for your brake controller. That terminal is the fuse for it.
On the back of the truck is your 4 prong plugged in?

 

Trailer brake hookup is inside the cab behind the parking brake. That red wire looks like a ground. White/red stripe -- is that the underhood light hookup?

 

If it didn't come with the tow package its not there. Mine didn't and I did the mopar kit. Thats how mine looked.
