He has obviously been around for quite some time... lol... he has more than 5000 posts. Nice truck, diesel? It looks like a diesel with that exhaust.

Wow! You got rid of your Hemi 2500 cause the cost of fuel was killing you and got a diesel?

But I like it!!!

As far as I have learned from watching other people and following costs of diesels vs cost of gas, even though the diesel gets better gas mileage the maintenance costs and costs of original purchase and many other things, the diesel still ends up being more expensive, so the excuse of better gas mileage to save on cost is really kind of a pathetic one... I dont know why people dont just say, I got it because I wanted it.

Nice truck OP. And Cherry, I got it because I wanted it and could. Not to mention it helps pull my 14k lb 5th wheel around very good, which is originally why I started looking at diesels anyway.

I understand the true reasons behind getting a diesel, and I understand the uses for it, but I just get annoyed when people say, oh, I got it to save on gas, because thats just the stupidest thing I have ever heard lol. To make up for the initial cost of purchasing a diesel over a gas would take an unbelievable amount of miles to make up cost.
