i put 33's on the dak 4.7, i didnt notice much power loss, but definitly notice a slower take off up to about 10-15mph and slight mpg loss, i bet 35's would be quite noticeable without gears, especially in the heavier ram

its not that big of a deal. 4:56 would be better but you dont wanna do it. So, will your performance go down a lil? Yes, but its a freakin truck not a race car. Will your mpgs go down a lil? id say yes but again, its still a damn truck and not a prius. my only concern is making sure they will fit with out rubbing otherwise i say go for it

ya i dont care if my truck is fast. if i wanted fast id buy a race car or an airplane, and i know ill lose power and mpgs but i dont wanna lose so much where its like im havin to push it up a hill, and still wanna get around and im going to put a 6 in lift if i get 35's so i wont have to worry bout rubbing

i have 33.8x12.1 bighorns on my truck as we speak, i have the 4.7 and it pulls them great, had 287/70/17 before hand which is a 32.8 almost 33's and there was not much difference.... with 35s which is wat i am gettin or maybe 37's, get some performance mods like cams, SC etc..... if i do go to the 37's i will throw some 4.56's on there but i want to do that anyways, my truck dont need to go no faster then 75 MPH so who cares if my truck goes 100 110 120 MPH, it i wanted fast i would have bought a corvette

but is it that much of a difference because im puttin them on my 20's i know if i went down to 17's or 18's that would deff put weight and suck on my truck but are the 35's that much more heavier than my stock tires or a 33" mud tire?
