Default Jba shorty headers are on

I finished up putting on my headers today. Not too bad of a job, luckily all of the bolts came out easily from the factory manifolds. It took about 4 hours from start to finish w/ hand tools. The truck seems to be pulling better off the line and revving up quicker. I got them from airram through the VIP sale for $430 for the titanium ceramic coated one's. Here is a link to a short vid and some pics http://yfrog.com/5ndsci00012z

No I'm waiting to hear from hemifever to see if he can get the engineers at SCT to alter a file for the tuner so it will load a tune for the 3.7. If I can get the custom tunes from him I'll get it dyno'd so he can dial it in and have some numbers. Unfortunately he said SCT is pretty busy and it will probably be awhile before they get to it.

The headers look good. How is it pulling with the new shorties?

It's definitely better off the line, it felt a little weak before until it got up above 2200 rpm in first and just revving it up it also seems quicker.

Chambers, nice work. Glad you like the JBAs. Were your manifold bolt holes slotted on the top, or did you cut them to remove? I suspect if you can keep your foot out of it, you may see a little mpg improvement. Sounds like the fun factor already jumped up.

Are you asking about the holes on the stock manifold in the first pic, if so then yes they we already slotted. I didn't have to cut anything, just unbolt and bolt on the new one's.

Thanks. Anybody else getting a weird burning smell for awhile after they installed their headers? I know they smoke and burn off the oils/grease/etc. that gets on them when you're putting them on when they first get heated up, but mine are still putting off a little bit of a burning smell. Once it cools I'm gonna check all the bolts, but I just wanted to see if this was common for the first 100 miles they can still put off a burnt smell.
