Default rocker panel help

Well after trying a shot in the dark for the 2 dodge dealships in my home city here they will not paint my rockers for free (of course) so i went to 1 autobody shop and they can put an undergaurd like box liner but not as ruff and they can be painted and they can also fade it into paint so its not so noticable and to touch up my bumper rust well to get rockers done on both sides with the gaurd crap and painted its a whopping $1300 quote. Lol i almost chit myself ..my wife is buying me a lvling kit for fathers day wooots and i like to put some sort of fender flares on truck i love the pocket style but they dont make a mini 1 i dont think anyway and get them to put this gaurd crap on the fender flares iv seen it done with different types of trucks and looks great...

cause i might actually do it myself 1300 is alot of dough when he said i can get a complete paintjob for 4000 anyone know what works best i seen alot of stuff at canadian tire just need some guidance here having some crap luck lately as they said it comes in 3's

dude 1300 for the wrinkle finish is actually the way to go man. Sorry that its not what you want to hear but it is the best thing to take the abuse from the **** they put on the roads up here and gravel rash. The rough finish will mask future paint repairs when you do touch ups. Just get them to follow the body line that runs along the bottom of your truc. If you do get flares get them painted with that **** too. Nothing else will deliver a finish quality you will pleased with IMO.

yea the roads up here are horrid in the winter..these guys have did some stuff for me in the past and they are good cause i do need flares even the oem style would do cause theres no chips(yet) on any fender so its more of a preventive mantenance thing lol . i was thinking i could also get the s.s plating that covers the rockers but im trying to go witht he black theme but i do need new mud flaps the factory ones do it (cause of chiped rockers) not sure what that would look like with a s.s tube side step with flaps with s.s plates and hemi s.s plate at bottom
