So I've been pricing out tires and rims and thought to myself, I'm going to need 5 sets aren't I?
Like 5 tires and 5 Rims to replace my fullsize spare I currently have. Cause I have been looking at the 37's and my current tires are 265/70/17 which is a 5 inch difference. So... I dunno tell me if I'm right or not lol.
If that is the case is $2,743.89 a reasonable price for 5 rims and 5 tires? 17" rims and 37" Toyo Open Country MT's
It says the rims have a 12mm offset and a 5.03 inch backspace. Is that enough?
What is the offset? lol

I've been pricing out a lift as well so that along with everything else I have mentioned will be kinda an all at once thing. Least, gonna try to do it that way... might take a while though.
If anyone has any suggestions to how I can do things piece by piece my ears are open (well, my eyes i guess lol)

My list for things I wanna do will be:
Rims & Tires
Lift Kit
4.56 gears
Superchips Flashpaq 3865
Possibly the Auburn LSD or DTT (if needed)
CAI
Exhaust system. (Magnaflow seems to be the most recommended)
I... think that's it for starting at least. I don't think I missed anything.. Any other suggestions are welcome

Another option that can save you some money in the wheel and tire area is to pick up a used hummer H2 wheel and a used 35 or 37" tire. Keep in mind these will not fit under the bed so it will need to be mounted in the box. You can find H2 wheels all day on kijiji for cheap.

So buy your wheels and tires. Then buy your lift so you will have wheels and tires ready to go on. Then you can drive around with the 37's on 3.73's so when you do upgrade to 4.56's it will feel really good. Somewhere before all of this you may want to get the superchips so you can adjust shift schedules and correct for tire size.

the H2 wheels are all 17x8 though it looks like... Couldn't I then just keep my factory 17x8's? Least... I think they are 17x8... I'm gonna go double check stuff on my truck lol... brb

K, back... Checked my wheels and they are 17x8.. didn't mention the Backspacing on them though... I guess that would be a factor...
In one of your previous posts you said there is a sticker on the passenger door didn't you Hemiguy? It says what kind of LSD I have no? I checked to see what it would say, but, it wasn't there lol. So how else can I find out what kind I have?

On the glove box door man. The reason I say H2 wheels is that they have a bit more offset. But yeah you are right your stock wheels with a new tire would work for you. The other way to see is if you have an LSD is go wet the pavement and do a slight burnout. Peel them both and you sir have an LSD.

Wait.. I thought for a sec.. your saying if Both tires go then I have it... but if only 1 goes I don't... I think.. That's what ur saying isn't it

Yes to the second part of your post. But serious check the glove box door. Even phone your dealer with the last 8 or 9 digits of the serial number and they can tell you.
