Default looking for a head unit and subs

im trying to set up a system in the ram but looking for a cheaper system. i bought a dual 10" box and the wire harness/antenna adapter as well as a 0/1 guage 1000 watt amp kit but now i need 2 subs (10") a head unit and an amp. whats a good sub that around $50 each or less? whats a good 1000 watt amp thats $100 or less? and last im looking for a head unit that has a remote, usb and possibly hd tuner for under $150. is hd radio even worth the extra money? any help would be great

ive had the subs before they hit hard and they fit good in the boxes for our trucks. the amp is the same one i currently had for the last year and i had absolutly no problems with it, never gets hot and i play my music loud. and sonys decks were always good to me. and hd radio IS worth it i love it!

FYI, that amp is only 350 watts when bridged to make the most power possible. With my experience with cheap amps, when you bridge them and try to get max power they just go into protection mode and quit on you. There's not really a cheap way into car audio, there is but its not worth wasting money on it. I spent $2000 just in equipment that was wholesale price to complete my system and do it myself where full price would have been around $4k without installation. Check out these which are a little more but have WAY better quality.

Now there's alot more available but check these out along with more on the website. If you find one then post a link and i'll give you my opinion on it.

If your looking for just some bass filler and not over the top loudness, then you can get away with the xplod's but don't be asking a whole lot from anything in the highlighted area above other than the HU is fine. The amp is especially junk. Sorry, but it is. That amp has 1-25amp fuse whihch means that the MAX wattage that it can sustain would be 350w at 14v and it will only see around 12v so that makes it 300W MAX. It will likely do around 180-200rms

For the little you want to spend, I think your much better off buying used. You'll get WAY more for your money.

ok, i just get confused when it comes to amp watts and channels and all that stuff. so do i want a 2 channel amp that can do 300 rms if the subs are only 300rms or something like that? back in the day i bought a cheap $80 hu,1000watt legacy amp (4 channel) and 2 12" xplode subs in a ported box and it sounded amazing in the car i had. i dont care about fancy stuff but i just want something better than stock. i always thought the higher watt amp the better but i guess not,lol
