keep in mind with nos, you're basically just freezing the air going into the intake. The more things you do to get that engine to be more efficient, the better. I would say LongTube headers should be strongly considered before doing this. You also wanna force as much air in there as possible, so a CAI is a must as well. Other than that, you dont really NEED anything else (aside from the springs as mentioned earlier)

nope. obviously the more power you put through the already weak tranny, but lots of guys are runnin 150 shot on the stock tranny. Going faster is a different story though -- if you wanna go faster, yeah new gears, torque converter, shift kit, valve bodies, new tranny, etc starts to come into play. But that wasnt your question so yes, you can use nos on your stock setup like it is

Also you do relize that in most areas (i know it is here for sure) it is illegal to have it in there and armed while on the road. Here you cannot be able to arm the system from the drivers seat and you cannot run it on the road. So really if you want to use it its basically a track only mod. Its quick cheap power but still.

"NOS" is a particular brand name (Nitrous Oxide Systems). N2O is the chemical name for nitrous oxide. Many companies make kits for N2O (or nitrous). I think it's just one of those things from the fast and furious crowd that bugs me.

Anytime someone offers up to mentor you through a new process it has to be good. Just know as much about what is going on as possible beforehand.
