friends tell friends to buckle up. some one must have shut mine off before i bought it because it only does a single beep when i start the truck thats it.

Yeah, I always wear my seatbelt too. But the stupid alarm was annoying when working construction and driving from job site to job site at 15 MPH in a developing subdivision.

I used a Scotchlok on the two wires on the seatbelt latch a long time ago

Ditto. I always wear mine, but disabled it in my JK Jeep for hooking up the boat trailer and launch/recovery on the ramps every weekend. Down right annoying driving 50 feet to the ramp, especially after loading all the sleeping kids in the backseat after a day on the water, for that thing to wake them up.
