I dunno if I can agree either, some look damn good. For me, when I made mine, I was tourney fishing at least 2 weekends a month and I brought everything but the kitchen sink with me. My truck was a long bed, reg cab diesel at the time and I needed to keep my sh*t from blowing out the bed. Can't beat a set of rails for that unless you get a cap and I ain't never been a cap guy.

I was thinking myself of a way to make some good looking yet functional bed rails but I'd have to say PVC is a lose-lose or that situation.
All said and done, your better off spending the $120 they get for the stainless one;s off ebay.
