Cut outs sound awesome to be sure, but there is a trend towards failing vehicles in inspection states with them installed. Better be sure you're not gonna fail an inspection if you are in a state where you have to get that PIA sticker!!!
My cousin in NY failed inspection with one, was told NO WAY he could pass with a device that was made to bypass the cats and muffler. Luckily, he had an in-law who was a mechanic at a car dealership who gave him a sticker...

I think so far I am looking into the cutout before the muffler...so on my drunken nights, I can cap it off and be somewhat unnoticed. Not that I drive plastered, but in MI .08 you're screwed, and just having a CDL...whether in a commercial vehicle or not; whether you still hold a job needing the CDL or not, it is .04...."you're a trained professional driver, YOU should KNOW better" Now a boy my size can have a lil more than most and be under the .08, but cuz I am considered under.04 I am screwed anyway, so if I have 1 beer, or even use mouthwash then drive, I am legally trashed.....so anything I can do to not draw attention is a good thing. Also considering the loosening of the clap...and if I plan to drink some "soda's" that night, I can tighten the clamp before leaving...or just drive the ol' lady's car...YUCK...nice, decent car and everything, but it is a CAR...and not SPORTS (or muscle) car...
