Need measurements from stock height 4x4
Fine, if you are going to get so upset over this, I will go out tomorrow measure my fenders, wheels tires everything you can imagine, Im just trying to help, but if you apparently think you need it from someone else I hope you find someone else to answer you. Good luck. And btw, I was going to go out measure mine for you as a second check and give you all of my measurements, but if you think you need someone else, then thats fine.
And actually that last bit I rushed on the other post, so you would add .75 inches back to yours, so that would put it at 5.25 inches. so not 6 I guess. But you can find someone else to help you.
cherry im not upset man, i just need simple numbers. i dont need an explaination, just numbers. if you have a stock height 4x4, you would be MOST helpful. i would definitely appreciated some measurements. thanks
Mine isnt stock height, but I know exactly how much I have lifted mine, without a doubt, I went exactly 2.5 inches with my leveling kit, measured it many times to make sure, then I have a 1 inch bodylift, so 3.5 inches total, then I have 35 inch toyo mt's which measure out at 34.75 inches, so I will measure it out then post the numbers. The back could be a little tougher as I have an add a leaf and it is supposed to be 1.5 inches, but add a leafs are very inaccurate... so it could be a 1/2 inch off give or take...
actually the only number i really need is top of tire to top of fender. then the tire size becomes irrelevant. If you're positive you have 3.5" lift up front, you should be at 8.5" right? much appreciated
I used to have an off road magazine that listed the ACTUAL amount of lift from the various lift kits on different model trucks.
I can't remember the specifics, but I know it said on the Dodge torsion kits (02-05) that the only kits that gave the actual advertised height were the Skyjacker 6" kit and the Rancho 4" kit. Most kits listed at 6" gave somewhere between 5 and 5.5" and some only gave that with the torsion bar key bolts cranked as part of the installation process...

Ground To Fender Top : 38.3 inches
Tire To Fender Top : 7 inches
Front :
Ground To Tire : 32
Ground To Fender Top : 38
Tire To Fender Top : 6.25
These are the numbers I got, it was dark and that's the best you get, hope this helps....And the first smart-*** that points out my numbers dont add up and my mesurements are off... Im driving to your house and punching you in the *****/vagina! Whatever equipment you carry... =P

So even BDS and RCD are off? I was really looking hard into those two kits because I felt like they would be really true and accurate to what they say they are with how those two companies are, mostly BDS, but I always kind of trusted RCD as well... BDS because you would think for $3000 that they would give you real numbers...
