Your cv's do not look that bad at all, mine with my level on my truck are much worse than that, but I have a spare set of cv's in my garage, so I am going to test it and see how they last. Im hoping they last until I lift my truck, then I will have the spare cv's for the lift.

I think you could probably torque your torsion bars like a half inch more easily without binding the cv's.

I dunno why you (and a few others with Fabtech lifts) are blowing out CVs. They are not bad at all, hell your drivers side is at about the same angle as both of mine with a 4" Rancho lift. I also don't know why your CVs are at different angles, mine are the same or at least close enough that they look the same to my eye and mine are definitely at more of an angle than your passenger side is.

Although the more I read about all these "6 inch" lifts that are measuring more like 4.5 - 5" I don't feel so bad paying $1700 for my 4" lift. When I researched the hell out of it before buying, only the Skyjacker 6" and I think one other 6" kit cost more than my 4" kit...

In all honesty, i think we were blowing CV's because the stock boots arent big enough. in any kind of flex, it pulls the boot off of the knuckle and allows sand and dirt into the actual joint, which causes the failures. I bought an after market CV for the drivers side and you can visibly see how much more boot is there. I dont think i'll be replacing that one anytime soon. ebay -- cvman or something like that
