Thanks for the great post's guys! And his truck it was on was a laramie, he just had the chrome part changed to black. I had to use the brackets off my old bumper, because part of them that wouldnt work for the tow hooks part was already welded on the frame. I can get it cut off and I know welders than can fab something up for me. But i'm pretty content with it right now. And Creative, it is hard as hell to find stuff for the truck here, I almost got the 06-08 20's for 200 bucks the other day, those went so quick...
My bad OP and guys. I thought all Laramie bumpers had the chrome strip, didn't know some were color-matched. Nonetheless, as I stated previously in the thread, the truck looks good.

You were correct. All Laramie bumpers have a chrome strip unless they have been painted after the fact, but all the Laramie's are chrome from the factory, at least on the 06-08 models. If the whole bumper cover is painted the body color it is a sport bumper. I had been looking for a complete Laramie bumper assembly for a while and recently found one. It is in the paint shop right now and I should have it installed soon.
Here is a link that may help you guys if you are looking for a hard to find part (like a Laramie bumper assembly). It searches craigslist in multiple cities at the same time so you have a much broader search. Check it out, it is how I found my bumper http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/sd.cgi?cat=pts
