Default What leveling kit should I order?

Hey Everyone,
I am going to order a leveling kit from 4wheelparts.com

It`s for my 4x4 2005 1500 Ram Reg cab with the Hemi. Which one should I order? Is this one any good? http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...n=DAYKC09104BK

Thanks

You could crank your torsion bars, like I did, but I still ended up buying a leveling kit. I only gained about an inch or so on the torsion bars. When I bought the "keys", I gained 2.5" after new shocks.

The link you posted are for struts?!? If you have an 05 4x4, Im guessing you have torsion bars, and will ned something called key ways.

same kit I had...

BTW... all torsion keys are adjustable... just tighten or loosen the torsion bar bolts... just remember, you have to realign the truck afterwards

not sure if this is meant towards my post.. but if you check the link out, what i meant by adjustable is that you can go 2" below stock or 2.5" above stock hieght. They have a 2 piece key so depending what position place it in will give you deferent heights.

Thanks guys!! I am going to order this one from topgun. So do I have to have new shocks to get the 2.5" or is it just going to make my ride better to get new ones? If the answer is yes I need new ones could someone please tell me some good ones? I like the looks of the procomp mx-6 shocks really well but as you guys can tell I know nothing about this stuff. You guys kept me from ordering the wrong thing all together! That would of sucked to get that thing in the mail and not even be able to put it on. I am wondering if I should`t hold out and just buy a lift. It`s either do this now or wait a few months and do a lift. So much to do and so little money to do it with.

If all you have to do is wait a few months to get a lift, save your money!!!!! Go outside and jack the front of the truck up and crank the t-bars and get 2" of free lift. Save your money and buy a lift kit. They come with shocks and everything you'll need. Don't waste your money on a leveling kit if you can save a couple months and buy a good suspension lift, you won't be disappointed.

completely agree! i think the replacement keys are a total scam! i know this subject has been beaten to death but your torsion bars are going to be stressed the same amount with stock or aftermarket keys....
