since this is your 2nd thread on this topic i guess the answers you received in the last thread weren't what you wanted to hear?
but ppl are gonna tell you the same things in this thread as they did in the other one. No need to double post.

its too dark.
its unsafe.
its illegal.
if not for your own safety think of the other drivers/ppl on the road that you may or may not even see with windows that dark.

Sounds like it is going to be a expensive mod but, hey you live and learn and learn and learn. You getting caught the first time already puts you on radar 2nd and 3rd time should get interesting. Tint shop will love your repeated business though.

AGREED: people think my windshield is tinted bc of my other windows!
Well, I couldn't imagine it that dark. My only hope now is that the OP is using a different standard for the tint %...
I've got 5% on the brow, both side glasses, and dual layers of 5% on the back glass. The brow is about 10" in length on the sides, and about 6" in the middle causing a flare effect. It's plenty dark, and if I found myself driving more at night, I would go to a lighter film, but I rarely drive at night so it's not a problem unless I'm hooking up to a trailer.

No need for tint on the windshield, that is asking for trouble both legally and safety. I drive with my windows half down at night and I only have 20% I can't imagine have 20% on a windshield. But maybe they mean 20% tint as in the opposite of 20% on the side windows. Maybe its actually 80% of the light can still come thru... I don't know, sounds crazyness either way.

so im the truck has been offically striped of tint for court on tuesday!! but after court i made my appt. for it to get 20 percent on the side windows and 20 percent on the front windshield... im gonna need some ideas and excuse as to when i get pulled over i cant wait for the out come the trucks gonna look sexy
