Default How do i raise my rear seat

alright guys so i just got my new amp..
clarion 850watt
i need to raise my rear seat so that my box clears properly..
also is there anyway that i can put the amp behind my rear seats?
ive seen it done but i dont know how i could fold down the rear seats.

i dont know the company name, but there was a sub box builder that sold the kit seperately to raise the rear seats with the spacers and everything. I thought he advertised it on here when he came out with it?? i dont know about the amp behind the seat though.

i think the guy your thinkin of is joe fox, the guy that builds our fox boxes. the kit is just a piece of wood that goes in between your seat mounts and the body. you could make them very easily by yourself

that could be.....i thought they were metal brackets or something but i never actually seen them. i was just thinking of giving adults some more legroom so i was gonna raise mine but i never did it.

only problem is that my box goes overtop of the side braces....
i have the bassworx one..

that looks like the mdf prefab i took out the other night mine fit fine with out raising the seats although i did have to make relief cuts in the carpet material under it especially in the corners ... but i have spacers if i need to measure em for you just let me know and i can show you...

I got four 13inch (i think( long pieces of box aluminum, about 1.5in tall and drilled holes for those....they fit even with the stock bolts, and cost me about $6
