Default Most common question... lifts/kits

I don't have a dodge, my brother does(and I hope he doesn't use this forum)

I wan't to suprise him because he does so much for me, I want to buy a lift for his truck and I have been looking online and there are a million different companies each with a million different kits. SO my question is whats the best 'bang-for-your-buck' lift kit? we know the front needs to come up atleast 3", but I was thinking of like a 4-6" front and 2-3" rear

The truck is a 2004 1500 4x4 HEMI crew cab long bed, completely stock

My budget is fairly small, but I'm gonna save up and try to get him something good, maybe between like $1500-$2000

I found this one online http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/dodge4_02-03gas.htm , the first one by zone, is that any good? or any of the ones below it? or maybe one of you knows someone who's selling a used kit? please let me know

Wow, I wish I could get someone to buy me a lift kit!! Thats one pricey gift! Zone offroad has been talked about a little on this forum and people seem to agree it is fairly good quality, and that lift is for a decent price, if you do get it for him, let us know how it is, measure fenders front and back to see if it gives the lift it claims also, many lifts dont give the lift they claim.

lol he does so much for me in helping with my car problems, I want to do something for him. If lift kits don't usually give the lift that they claim then isn't that a legal issue? that's kinda bs... I'll be sure to measure before and after if I end up getting the kit, I'm sure I'll end up seeing a tag that reads '49-state legal, not legal for California' more than twice, damn these laws
