just picked up my truck and......
Since you just bought it, good call on letting the dealer "deal" with it.
For future reference, there is a schematic of the evap system in the FAQ section. Chrysler uses really cheap hose clamps and it's VERY common for one to fail and create a leak or they will wear on the hose ends from vibration over time and crack and end.
A cheap and easy fix, but always a PIA to trace down where the problem may be...
I bought a couple lengths of different diameter hoses and some good clamps at the auto parts store and re-did a bunch of "iffy" looking hoses in my '02 Grand Cherokee a couple weekends ago. It was amazing how many of those cheazy clamps broke just taking them off.
I'm gonna re-do the ones in the truck soon...

I had a small leak code too...
- Broken hardline off the filler vent.
- Failed electronic controller switch
Cost me almost $800 to repair... Mainly because I took it to a 3rd party shop that used their red crayon incorrectly.
Anyhow, take it to the stealership. At least they know this particular system.

just got it back today... they replaced the 4wd motor( i guess the solenoid that puts it in 4x4) because on the way there that light came on and they said it was going into 4x4 intermittently so thats good now.. they did every test they could do about the gas cap except one and it passed all of them so the last test they cant do until its under quarter-tank of fuel so they reset the light and it hasn't come on yet but we will see.
