Default Should I put a Tranny Cooler on?

I have the 4.7. Should I put a tranny cooler on? Towing around 5500#'s.

shouldnt need it unless you're pullin some serious hills. get a trans temp gauge though so you can monitor the trans temps. but theres always the chance you might need a cooler, so get one so you're not sitting on the side of the highway waitin for the tranny to cool down (been there done that... its miserable).

Get the trans temp gauge for sure though

i recommend the cooler. especially if you are planning on towing.

How hard is a tranny temp gauge install?

Is there a how to link to a tranny cooler install? So I can tell which line is in and out.

Dont 4.7s already have a cooler and if so, how many rows is the one you have now?
