Default TPS 06 Hemi?? Highway RPMs?? Problems

I have an 06 Hemi ram. When im cruising at 60ish it seems to jump from like 1600rpm to 1900rpm all the time, almost like the converter is locking and unlocking. It usually jumps up only for a few seconds and then back down. I had a 00 4.7 dakota that did the same thing, it turned out to be the tps sensor. I work at a local mom and pop type auto parts store. I looked up my 06 hemi and it listed the same tps sensor as my 00 4.7 had, so I figured sure **** that had to be the problem. Now im at home with the air box and throttle body off and I cant find any tps sensor, and its got the electric pedel to? Im kindof stumped why the computer at work lists this sensor but it dosnt seem to have one?

Anyone else have this simular problem or know if theres a tps sensor anywhere? Im pretty sure the computer was wrong, unless you can somehow take the throttle body apart and get to it?

Also on the 06 when I get on to the highway and get up to 60ish and set the cruise it seems to want to stay into 4th i think for a long time, unless I hit the coast button on the cruise then it shifts into 5th???? It may actually be in 5th but it just wont lock until i hit the coast button.

I feel that the problems are directly related somehow.

Truck has 37K, tranny seems perfectly fine, well atleast for a dodge tranny it seems fine, just changed the fluids in the last 2k.

Any help would be awsome, thanks....

O yeah and any speed over about 65mph and its fine? Rock solid, never has and rpms jumping up and down.

there's a tps sensor recalibration method for it, I think its in the DIY forum. Do that and hopefully you should be back to normal.

Its on the main forum page with all the dodge vehicle threads. here is the link.

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/diy-do-it-yourself-75/

when you get into the DIY thread. you will have to go to the display options at the bottom and select beginning in "From The" box. I hope you find it. good luck.
