The only people that don't recommend the eraser wheel are those that have never used one.

Was it spray paint or something? You must have been pressing like a **** to burn through clearcoat and paint. You gotta be gentle. Treat it like a nipple, just nibble on it softly and they'll do anything you want.

heat gun will take them off if done right, just keep it moving back and forth for a few seconds and the badges will fall off with adhesive attached, also if some is left behind, and old t-shirt and a can of acrosol will do the rest. just dont sit the hit gun in one spot or you will buble the paint

Those of you with an eraser wheel...where did you get it? I'm having no luck finding one. My thumb is killing me from rubbing the sticky stuff off and i have the back left to do.

Also after you get them off are you just waxing that spot with normal wax? I waxed mine and i can still see the "ram 1500" at the right angle but barely.

Also how are you getting dealer stickers off that they sometimes put on the tailgate, the name of their place.

^^^I bought mine at mytoolstore.com. The wheel and the mandrel cost me about $12. Shipping was $5 or $6 and I received it in about 3 or 4 days.

I used braided fishing line first, then the wheel, then goo gone and last Meguairs Scratch X2.0 to remove the shadowing and a few outlines that remained.

I don't have any dealer stickers on my truck or info on how to remove them.

I took the side badges off with fishing line pretty easily. Then used my thumb to rub the the tape off...but after two sides I'd rather get the wheel. I just couldn't find one. I used some scratch remover than waxed/clay bar but can still kind of see the "ram 1500" It's on a black '03 so its been there a while and from straight on you can;t see anything. I'll get at it again tomorrow though see if I can make the shadowing of the letters go away a little more.

I just took mine off and mine is an 02 so they have been on there a little longer. I used an adhesive remover and my thumb. i have to say if you have already taken off the sides there really isnt any reason to spend the money to get a wheel for just the tailgate. The dealer sticker should be just like the badges. I still have a slight outline when you look at it just right but I think after washing it a few more times I will wax it and that should about do it. It should just take some time and maybe a little elbow grease and shut your eyes just a little bit and it should go away lol.
