Beastro- Go with the wheel and some wax...SAVE YOUR THUMB.

The only way to see the shadow is if you are really looking for it. I only spent 10min waxing it late at night in my garage. I'm going to get at it tomorrow and I would bet it would almost go away. I'll take the hard to see shadow look bc it looks nice without the badges now...I might even paint the "RAM" black and put it back on the truck....still undecided (any input?)

I also thought about painting the badges because when I took them off and just had the black residue it looked alright, but personally I'm not going to do that because I like the clean badgeless look. Someone told me not to wax it right after you take off the emblems because what you see would be there forever. He said to wash it a few times then buff it and then wax it and there should be no real shadow. Also he said park it in the sun and the sun should fade it out a little bit and make it match almost perfectly.

you might be right..It's suppose to rain here the next few days so maybe i'll wait to get at it for a few days. Like i said, you really have to look to see it anyways. Probably different on diffferent colors too.

Also probably depends on how often you cleaned it/ how well you cleaned it. I know like where the zeros were and the Os there is clearly dirt stains from mud and grim just sitting in there and I never cleaned it that well inside those crevises. Supposed to rain... story of my life right after I wash and wax the truck... too bad it won't fit in the garage, too many other toys lol.

The sun will eventually have the outlines fade away. Highly recommend the wheel though guys. It took no time at all. xlgator had the right combo. That's exactly how we did mine. Well, with a little help from a couple good guys on here. lol

You have it on an electric drill or something? I've used an eraser wheel on a cordless at least two dozen times and have NEVER burned thru the clearcoat...
