I don't know if it would work or not, I think that cam would be a torque monster though, and with 116lsa, it might work with sc??? But stu would know much better than I.

truckin, what made you decide to go with the spartan over the crazy jay?

I like to play in the upper rpms (tq converter and 4.56's puts me up there)... and it nets a bit more power to the ground. I also know of a few guys running it and getting into the low 13's using it.

Good reason, I was just wandering since I have been reading a lot about cams for my truck lately. But with a QC 4x4 I will need all of the torque I can get like with the crazy jay.

Sorry silverbullet...I didn't mean to hijack your thread

Bullet, the first two cams I looked at back when I still had my SC was were the crazyjay and crazy spartan, if memory serves me correctly, the crazyjay is more of the lowend cam, the crazy spartan was more mid range, and both with a 115+ lsa would run on the SC canned tunes.

Are you planning on doing the swap yourself or do you have someone in mind? If your gonna DIY, I'll bring some cold beer and lend emotional support.
