yea mine sits on the floor, and has a few screws holding it in...which sucks if you dont double check because the box will fill up!

And I paid $100 to get a fuel tank powdercoated, so if you take away the cost of the powdercoating from the box its not that bad...and yea, its a UWS, and the same one he posted in the link...im still unhappy they put a blue nameplate on there... I like it way more than the others Ive had

What do you mean it will fill up? I'd probably find some other way to mount it, I hate drilling holes in my truck!

If you dont put silicone around the screws, when the front of your bed fills up with water it will eventually equalize in the box....and mine is through the bottom of the bed, you couldnt see it unless you knew it was there when the box was out

I've seen that one in Lowes, nice toolbox. Tractor Supply has one just like it too but with a rail around the top. May have to upgrade, although I'll lose my Hi-Lift mount I made on the bottom of my box in an attempt to use some of the space underneath...

Oh, ok. I've gotta go out and measure my bed to see if that box will fit, I have a bed liner and I'm not sure if that extra padding will change how the box fits. How much room do you have around yours Matt?

i found my deezee on CL for cheap and used roll-on bed liner on it. its super deep and low profile.. the bedliner has held up excellent on it and i beat it up pretty bad (the white stuff is drywall mud)
looking out the back window from inside the cab you cant even see the toolbox

JROY_try looking on craigslist before going to buy new. I put a wanted ad on there and had a couple e-mails within the hour.

NIM- that's same kind i've been looking for. CL has a ton on there around here but no black ones (has to match the truck) I'm glad someone else has done the roll on bed liner bc I was thinking that or powdercoating.

I've been looking on craigslist but I haven't been able to find a black one either. I don't really feel like painting it my self. And most of the ones on craigslist don't have keys with them.

just be patient and eventually someone will have what you want on craigslist. unless you have the extra money..i do not! ha
