What truck tool box?

mine didnt have a key, the lock mechanisim unscrews from the inside and you can replace the lock cylinder in about 2 minutes with one from lowes, cost me about $4

also painting it took all of 45 min..

In that case. I think I found an even cheaper one since they don't have keys for it. Are they universal ones at lowes or have to be specific to the model?

It will fit with the liner, the only thing is if the liner has the outridges vertically down the front corners of the box (they stick out like 2in) you could move the box up about 2in if you cut those

Not trying to take over..trying not to start another thread...
Does anyone screw their truck box to their bed..Worried about someone just taking out of the truck?

I intend on running some sort of hooks to the underside of the bed rail and/or the front cleats.

Jake, mine is screwed to the bottom

jroy, you cant do that with the boxes that dont go over the rail

MATT- Didn't you say water gets in? Would a rubber seal or some kind of silicone fix that?
