Default 04 Ram Stalling at stops or slow downs

Hello all, I recently started having a random stall and complete shut down of my truck at times when I am coming to a stop or slowing to turn. Scared me a little as I couldn't steer or brake very easy. That being said, I have researched and found it is likely needing a new EGR valve, but the problem is my year truck does not actually have an EGR valve. I have the 4.7l and it should be located on the back of the drivers side cylinder head, but it is not installed (never was for this year and early). That being said, any ideas on what would be causing the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start with the basic tune up stuff- plugs, air filter, clean the TB, clean/replace pcv valve (if you have one). Test your wires with a continuity meter.

check your charging voltage and static voltage of the battery. your VR in your alternator could be slowly dying.

I had this same exact problem a couple months ago. I got a new battery and haven't had a problem since. You could try that sea foam stuff too, from what I hear it works miracles.

I would also say look at your tps (throttle position sensor). I had a 99 ranger that used to shut down when I came to a stop or slowed down for a corner. Replaced the tps and problem went away. You could also see if recalibrating it would help a little.
