Default Highest class tow hitch
I'm driving a 2008 Ram 1500, 4.7L V8 4x4, quad cab, short bed. When I bought the truck it didn't have the tow hitch, has the wiring already. Just wondering what the max class tow hitch I can/need to put on the truck. My guess would be class 3 but if the engine can handle what a class 4 tow hitch can I wanna go with that.

rams come with a Class IV (if you have the tow package)

I seen this one low class hitch that was all rusty and had truck nutz on it. Somebody needs to learn it some manners!
