Default efan question dont think its ever been asked?

my buddy has a 2006 GTO 6.0L LS2 very nice car last week he installed a procharger kit and its screamssss stock motor and its pushing close to 600 hp at the wheels but thats all besides the point the procharger kit sent him new efans so he took his old ones off and hes got them lying around in the garage so i told him id take them off his hands can i use them to do the efan mod on my truck? i dont have the specs on them but i think and efan is a efan right?

Nah they're not.
I can't remember what the recomended CFM (cubic feet per minute) needs to be for our trucks, but someone will hopefully chime in????
I think it's quite a lot of CFM's needed to cool trucks........possibly around the 2500 cfm/min rating???

Plus, what are are the sizes of his efan? Have you looked at it to see how or if you could even mount it?

Might need 3,300 cfm for the Ram. That's what the Black Magic moves (I think).

Black Magic is indeed 3300 cfm. I believe the Taurus and Lincoln Mark VIII fan that everybody pulls from junk yards is around 2600 cfm on low and 3500 cfm on high.

You just need to make sure that the coverage is close to the size of your radiator, that the cfm is at least 2600 cfm and that you can mount them...
