I have a friend that has 1 in 2 out borla. It's really quiet, quieter than stock at idle. if he gets on it, it sounds great though. I'm going with 3030 personnally cuz I like loud

Did you also consider Magnaflow? They make several mufflers that are just like the AT3030....small in size. Magnaflow has a great tone to it. Nice truck, by the way....

Thanks for the responses guys. I do like the borla tone however i love the volume of the 3030. It seems the borla changes the engine to an aggressive tone versus the 3030 that just amplifies the stock tone. As to the truck thank you for your compliments - i just got it and I have to keep it as clean as I can since Im paying for it! Other opinions appreciated!

I've had my FM 40 series on for almost two years, so I will need to swap soon, I will probably either go with another 40 series, or a Borla..I want a deep, aggressive noise - something to grab your attention, but it's hard to see what sounds the best because the engine tones are so different between the 4.7 and hemi

4.7 sounds better than the hemi with just about any muffler

Dont think I'd agree there, the borla's tone is a deeper tone than stock depending on which one you go with, my old catback was slightly deeper than stock at idle but was fierce at WOT. The XR-1 I have in there now was slightly louder and deeper than the previous borla muffler, and gave it a great all around tone both at idle and WOT and best of all there was NO DRONE in the cab with either of them. Right now with the long tubes and the XR-1, it sounds agressive-er at idle and mean as hell at WOT.

The thing I have heard about the AT3030 is that quite a few people go back in after a month or so and reinstall a resinator to "melow" it out some what.

You are going to get a quality product no matter what direction you go, and they both sound real similar. Big difference is in the price, the Borla is around $130 and the 3030 is a little less.
