I tend to buy the cheapest blades in the auto parts store as well and change them often. Love bugs in florida and swarms of just about everything that flies in the south Georgia swamps dictate that NO wiper blade will last long.

I'm with 'dog on this though, I clean my glass all the time with a spray on glass cleaner and ALWAYS use a newspaper...

the wheel cleaner setting at the carwash literally melts bugs off fyi. works great! i spray my whole front end down with it, let is soak and spray off.

ive had the rain-x blades for over a year now and they are still working well, try waxing your windsheild with a good sealer wax, i do it about every 8 months and it makes it very easy to get the love bugs and road grime off, learned the trick driving across aligator alley every weekend going back home,
