PIAA Wiper Blades
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any input on the PIAA wiper blades? They're a little pricey, but if they last longer it would be worth it. I know mud will kill any wiper blade, but I'm getting sick of replacing mine every three months.

Haha nope, no lights on them. I did see a couple hondas driving around with lights on their wipers though...
The only problem with rain-x is in the winter. Wiper are pretty much necessary in winter for cleaning off salt spray. The Anco winter blades usually last me through the winter, I guess I was just hoping there was something better...

Rain-X are good, but I like Bosch ICONs the best. They are pricey but worth it, at least to me.

I buy the cheapest one's. I hardly use them so they stay in great shape. I don't use Rain-x either, but I do use the orange Rain-x bug wiper fluid and regularly clean my windows with glass cleaner.
You can buy the best wipers out there and they will only wipe as clean as the glass is itself. Going through the carwash doesn't clean your glass. It needs to be wiped down and with a glass cleaner. This will remove the baked on debris that catches the water and makes it sheathe rather than bead. All my cars bead up and no wipers are ralrey needed unless I'm in spray conditions.
At any rate, keeping your window clean will ensure a perfect edge for your wiper to run over. If your window is dirty it will actually wear down the edge of your wiper blade faster and cause it to not wipe as good.
sorry for getting all technical on just wiper blades...haha
Seems like everything is a science in it's own way.
I'm about 1 pair every 8mo-1yr
