Was Off too sandusky last week;594 miles one way. This was the first big trip for me and my rig. We got there under tornado warnings, omg what a thrill!! at any rate we chilled for two days then took the truck to go out, Well I get too the lobby and a snapping sound,Deffinately electrical was coming from the right side. Popped the hood and it dissappaered?? The next day I separated some of the coil pack wires, (all I could think of). And the trip home was good plenty of power and no issues. Anybody have anything close too this happen? I was worried and dumbfounded at the same time. Sorry for the rant , it's been awhile lol.

 

Maybe it was your egr ticking?

But I doubt youll find what that noise was unless it repeats itself. I tried to figure out where a whistling was coming from a few times....almost imposible unless it does it while your staring at your engine. Good luck to you though

I dunno. I've driven it in a friggin monsoon and nothing.But I'll know that sound will surely come back. Just a matter of time. Kinda like me ha ha lol
