Need all your help fellow Ram owners.
I know this is long but please read if you believe a company should stand behind product failure.
Hey Purchased a Fold a Cover for my truck in 07 and it started leaking less than a year after purchase but didn't think anything of it because nothing is water tight right? Well in 2009 things changed and it started leaking like a shower head was placed inside the bed. Contacted the company and they said that it was out of warranty and I should buy a seal kit. Well thing is, it is not leaking from the seals, it is coming from the U channel that surrounds each of the 4 panels. So after sending pictures to Fold a cover they insisted it was the seals, and sent me the seals. Yes nice jester, but I new this would not help. Well installed the seals and it still leaks like just as bad as it did before. I just wanted them to stand behind the product they claim is better than any other. I even offered to go to a local dealer and have them check this thing out, Fold a Cover wanted nothing to do with it. I was told to buy a new cover. NICE HUH! This is the short version of the story..... My truck to date has only 22,000 miles on it and is garage kept, so this thing looks like new yet but leaks bad.
What I am asking is that everyone send Fold a Cover a message stating they need to improve customer service, and if they are going to treat customers this way you would never purchase from them. A link is attached below to the site and the person I had all my correspondence with. Please be nice, but make it well known that you are a dodge owner and will never purchase from a inferior company who don't stand behind there product. We as truck owners joined have a voice more powerful than a company who wants to take advantage of us.
