Default Another Cam question

Like many people on here, I have been looking at cams lately. I downloaded Comp Cams CamQuest program and it recommended the 260 and the TPX 262.

What are your thought on Comp cam TPX 262HR-14 compared to other cams?

with you having a QC and a heavier 4wd, maybe something on the torque side would be good for you. Im running a KRC 210 and love it. Do some reading as there are more than a few threads on this subject.

I have been reading every cam thread on here and DT. I have never seen anything on the 262 that is why I was asking. I am still not sure what I want to do with a cam yet. The more I read the more undecided I get. I was pretty set on a Crazy Jay. Now I am thinking maybe Crazy Spartan, Sidewinder (or 6.1 reground, ie Crazy Frog) or KRC 210.

I've never heard of the 262.

I never did either, that is why I was looking for more info. I just found it by using Comp Cam's CamQuest program. It looks like a very mild cam, but requires custom tuning.

Pretty sure thew only cams from comp cams hat are for the HEMI are the 260, 268, and 273.

And of the 3, for your app probably start at the 260.

My bad... those are the XFI cams, The TRI Power Extremes has the 262.

Also looks like those cams are more fuel efficient than the XFI's but look a little mellower

The more I look, I think I want something between the 260 and 268, if there is such a cam. I am thinking 6.1 reground to sidewinder, but I am not sure.

The sidewinder used to be described on fri's site as a cam that falls between the 260 and 268.
