Default Suggestions on new ram 1500

Just bought a 2006 Ram 1500 TRX4 Hemi reg cab short bed, and im new to the whole mopar world and this forum.. Anyways, Im wanting to put long tubes, catback, tuner, intake, e fan, and possibly a cam in it pretty soon. And I wanted some imput from you guys on which parts i should go with. Been kinda looking around at some posts trying to get an idea of whats good and whats bad. The truck is pretty much a secondary vehicle that doesnt get drivin a whole lot, and im in the military and deploying pretty soon so i wanted to get some of this stuff done before my wife takes the truck back to colorado, so i can focus on getting it paid off while im on deployment. Eventually, prolly next year im gonna lift it, gears and 35's. Hopefully thats enough info to kind of give you guys a picture of what i want the truck to be when its done..

Thanks,
Mike

Welcome! to start off do you have emissions test in your state? if so long tubes will most likely cause you to fail.

For a tuner if you plan to get a cam, go with the Diablo Sport Predator its the most flexable.

For the intake most make there own out of PVC pipe but there are several available out there.

For the exhaust, probably your best bang for a muffler would be either a magnaflow, aero turbine or a cherry bomb.

As far as the e-fan, a lot take the e-fan out of a 90's ford taurus and get a controller for it. Otherwise you can get a flexalite fan kit and that works too.

For the cam, wait for the other guys on here to jump in.

Also good luck in the military!

Got exhaust done on it today, Flowmaster 44, duals, jba tips.. Sounds great, very clean and throaty. Also ordered my nerf bars for it, should be in tommorrow, working on getting LTs, ypipe and intake within the next week or so.
