Don't go there, I sold my last bass boat almost three years ago when my parents were both sick and I was caring for them every day. First I've gone more than over a winter without one since I was 20!

I did use the money to buy my Grand Cherokee which is my daily driver, so gets a LOT more use than the boat did, but I still miss that thing!!!

OK, returning thread to original topic:

Every time I've seen one fail and run in all speeds EXCEPT high, it's been the switch. Every time it ONLY works in high, it's been the resistor...

You can sometimes find guys who are parting out trucks. Try to find PCP on Dodge Talk.

And yes you simply pull the bezel off. It is only held in place by clips.

Thanks all. I will look at it later tonight after it cools off a little.

The boat is fun, it's nice to get away for a while. I almost bought a Contender to fish offshore, but I like flats/inshore fishing better. I went with the 24' so I can run out 20-30 miles on good days to get my offshore fix.

I did some looking online and found the part number to be : 55056755AB. The 54AB part doen't have the mirrow defrost button. I'll do some comparing online and find one.

i had an action craft 18'1" with 200 YAMAHA that cost me 50 bucks in fuel if i fished hard all day, now i have an 07 sailfish 24 foot with 2 yamaha 150's and it costs me around 200 to troll all day. its nice to have a kingifsh association class hull though, i like being able to run 30-35 in 4 foot seas

I ordered a new a/c control panel yesterday. Got my fingers crossed that it will fix it. Hopefully I won't have to keep replacing these things every couple of years.

I got the new a/c control panel today and that did not fix the problem. Nothing changed at all, still works fine except on high. The air output on high is about the same as low.

Next thing to check will probably be the resistor card by the glovebox. Could it be the blower motor itself? How can I check that? I hate replacing parts, it will get expensive quick. Just my luck, this all happens right after the warranty runs out. Time for a new truck!!! lol

Always go with the cheapest part first...If you are guessing what could be wrong

I'll look for the resistor card later, guess that will be the next part swap. There will be a new a/c control panel on Ebay soon.
