02 extenders for exhaust
Hey dudes, just found these and ordered a set. Guess I can get rid of that semi-splice job I did on my O2 sensors. Thought I'd post this up, in case anyone else is getting the check engine light cause they cant install their rear O2's.

I have those same ones on my front O2 sensors. They didn't fit the rear O2 sensor plugs on my truck. I had to grind off part of the plug on the harness, on the extension and on the plug for the O2 to get it to fit. Hopefully you will have better luck getting them to
fit your rear O2 sensor plugs than I did.

For $36 and it says you CANNOT cut and splice the wires without damaging the O2s?
BULLSH*T!!! I cut and spliced my rear O2 sensor wires almost five years ago and they still are the original sensors!!! My cost, less than 50 cents!!!

hmmm. Maybe I should have just left them spliced? I just like having a solid plug to plug contact. I think I did a good job soldering. But then again, I dont want something shorting out if I go through a big puddle, or some snow again.

Nah, I don't think you did bad, it's always better to have a plug or screw in than cutting and soldering. I'm a shrink tubing fanatic, so I'm not worried about water, obviously they must be water tight cause I've done a good bit of hog huntin' in the slop in the last 5 years!
I probably would have gone that way if I knew they existed...

Agreed. One of mine are cut and spliced. But these extenders are good for people who dont have tools or know how to properly cut and splice.
