Actually RH, I just checked the packaging and got online to verify. The 5" lights are chrome, the 6" lights are stainless steel. So the ones on my fairlead for the Jeep are the same as yours.
Luckily, the 6" ones on the truck stay on the truck and outside and as of 5 mins ago, not a sign of any rust, pitting, etc. and the ones on the fairlead stay on the winch which lives in my garage out of the weather. I'm still gonna flitz them up real good and maybe tape them up tomorrow and hit them with a couple of coats of clear, just in case. No signs of anything on them yet, but based on what you found, I'm not gonna take the chance.
The stainless ones, I'll continue to just Flitz when I wash/wax the truck and keep an eye on them, but I think they'll be fine...

Yeah, I dunno if it's just the pics or what, but they seem kinda dull compared to your truck white.
You got me paranoid now, btw. I bet I've looked at my 6" stainless ones about six times and the 5" chrome ones at least a dozen times in the last three days! Still no signs of any pitting or anything, but like I said, I think I'm gonna hit the chrome ones with a coat or two of clear to seal them...
If you swap them out, you better get another 130 watt light. I used my old 55 watt Hellas for the light bar on my Jeep and what a difference from when I have the winch with the 130 watt 5" chrome Cepeks on!!! I'm gonna have to tear them Hellas apart now and do the 100 watt bulb upgrade. Good thing I used 12 gauge wire, so I'll only have to rewire the light down about 6" for the pigtail coming out of them.
Oh and as previously stated, if you are unhappy with these, DO NOT get the Hella 1900s or the KC Dayliters, same light...
