It's funny how tastes are different in different areas. In the deep south black accessories are viewed as the stuff people buy when they can't afford good chrome or stainless.

In south Georgia it's not rare for a blacked out truck or one with stupid bling like spinners to wind up with some vandalism on it in the middle of the night.

I mentioned blacking out my Jeep to a couple of friends (I thought it'd be a nice contrast to all the stainless and diamond plate on my truck) and you'da thought I was talking about going to church and taking a dump on a pew!!!

I don't know what they cost RH, but there was a thread maybe a week ago on one of the Jeep forums by a guy looking to buy lights and besides the Light Force ones (which are stupid expensive) a lot of guys said the Hella Rallye 4000s were really good, German made, as opposed to the 500s, 1000s which are made in Bangladesh and the 1900s which are China...

I guess it is a west coast thing, i had a fully blacked out ranger in highschool. I dug it because it was different from the chrome from the rich kids Beemers and Mercs, and not as vulger as the rice boys. To me chrome belongs on classic cars.

I saw those at my local truck accessory store when I was shopping to replace my Hellas on the truck. They wanted $150 PER LIGHT in black and $225 PER LIGHT in chrome!!!!!!!!!
If memory serves, there 6" 35 watt HIDs were over $400 PER LIGHT!!!

Undoubtedly higher quality than the Cepeks, but my pockets ain't that deep!!!
