bought a new one with a gauge pod in it and put a tranny temp gauge in it. The price of the one with and without the pod was the same, so why not make a repair a mod, right?
Hammer do you have a part # for the one with gauge pod? I assume its from the dealer ....right?
I don't have a part #, but yeah the one from Moe's is the same thing. I only got mine from a dealership because we used to have a moderator here who was the manager of the parts department at a dealership and I got it at cost. But it's the SRT-10 part...

Yeah, I broke my neighbors on his 2004....I bought him a replacement for like $26. I felt bad....he didnt ask for it, but I thought it to be the right thing to do.
It has never happened to me either. I think you all have grounds for a class action law suit. IMHO, Dodge should have never made the truck so high as to need a handle to get in.
Happened to me too!! I wrapped the screw holes with about 6 or 7 layers of duct tape real tight! and has held fine since. I also use the steering wheel more.

LOL....
hahaha lmao. This is going to sound kinda dumb until I explain my reasoning. I was wondering if they sell the SRT-10 pillar with a pod and handle for the passenger side. Or if anyone knows of any company that makes one with pods for the passenger side. It seems dodge did a very insufficient job (imo) with the stock stereo and the "tweeters" are actually 3" speakers (which no one sells) located in the dash. I want to put tweeters in the pods on the pillar so the sound is pointed directly at you and depending on the pod it could have 1-3 tweeters, but it wouldnt make sense to do that if you cant buy a passenger side pod pillar. I know I could custom fab one with fiber glass but thats semi expensive, time consuming, and if both sides are not perfectly matching I would have a hissy fit until I got rid of the pillars lol.
