Default Tag Lights

Anyone ever try replacing them? I can't get these suckers out and I already broke one of them lol so if anyone can provide me some help to how to get them out, I will really appreciate it. They don't want to twist off so I'm kind of at a loss here. I'm replacing them with white LED's.

yeah license plate lights, but I got it. I had to use pliars and pull it by those gray wires lol..there was no way I would be able to get it with my fingers without cutting myself. Best thing of all, is that I only got one bulb from the company so I have to e-mail the company now

I got them from Diode Dynamics..I just e-mailed them about another bulb so now I have to play the waiting game

I thought the bulb needed to be twisted out when all I had to do was pull it out lol so that's pretty much why I broke it , but at least I figured it out. I would have been mad if I didn't get it to work and I would be hesitant to drive at night

Anyone know how to take off the lenses that the light goes through for the license plate lights? I need to clean mine they are like a bright yellow. Do they just pop off? I was thinking about prying them up with a screw driver...

This is a good idea but what you really need is to tie the switch into every light in the back. I was driving my drunk underage buddy home one night and i saw a cop flip around and i was the only one on the road so I ducked down an alley before he turned on his lights and pulled into a drive way but I forgot to take my foot off the brake. If I had a switch i could have ducked down the alley and he would have never known. But be careful with that also because I have been pulled over for not having a light on the plate even though the second he pulled behind me his lights illuminated my tag but whatever he just wanted to check if i had been drinking which he was correct but he never tested me, just asked lol.
